Fall Festival

SUNDAY, October 22, 2023

Holy Cross Church & School is excited to invite you, your family, and your friends to the Holy Cross Fall Festival on Sunday, October 22! It's a rain or shine event! There might be a little precipitation in the forecast but we're prepared for festivities inside or out!

JOIN US FOR MASS: 10:30AM

We'll kick off the festival with Mass at Holy Cross Church beginning at 10:30 AM. We hope you can join us! If your curious about what Mass is like at Holy Cross visit our website here. Following Mass, head over to Holy Cross School for food, fun, and games.

FOOD, FUN, & GAMES: 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM

The festival kicks off after Mass at 11:30 AM and runs to about 2:00 PM. The festival will take place at Holy Cross School. There will be a free BBQ including pulled pork from Brewster Inn, delicious fall treats like pies, cakes, and scrumptious sides! There will be some incredible inflatables for the kids and kids at heart, a high school dodgeball tournament, light hearted competitions for younger kids, and tons of fun activities like face painting along with some great entertainment.

PARTICIPATION WAIVER

Please note: this year a parent must sign a waiver before their child can participate on any inflatables. You may sign the release and email it to steve@holycrossdewitt.org or bring a signed copy with you to the event or sign one at the event.

HOUSE SHIRT

Holy Cross students, Faith Formation and Sacramental Prep participants and some or our youth discipleship group should have received their House shirt this week.  If you did not yet, you can pick it up at the Fall Festival! Wear your shirts and support your House! Learn more about the Houses here.

VOLUNTEERS

If you are interested in volunteering at the event, please contact Julie Sheridan at julie@holycrossdewitt.org. We are looking for help with setup on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, clean up after the event Sunday afternoon, serving food and drinks, and supervising the inflatables. Please let us know if you’d like to help.
